Planets within a globular cluster
Shoreline Extraordinaire (1998)  Here you see a seascape on an imaginary alien planet in the vicinity of a globular cluster. Globular clusters are roughly spherical concentrations of mainly old stars, harbouring up to one million members. Note that this image is pretty imaginary because, for reasons I won't go into, globular clusters are very unlikely places to find planets.
