Disaster! (1999)
This is a variation of an illustration done for the UK magazine Frontiers
back in 1999. It was to illustrate (if I remember correctly) an article about the
dangers of Shuttle missions. The ship was painted on screen, with a mouse, in
Photoshop with no prior scanning. The planet is a Bryce sky which I
inverted in Photoshop and added curvature to with the 3D transform tool.
