Inner Solar System (2009)
This is a schematic representation of the innermost four planets of the Solar System.
This inner part of our home in space is quite crowded, being only one-twentieth of
the full extent of the Solar system out to Neptune. We are situated just behind Mars,
looking towards the Sun. The other planets are (heading inwards) Earth, Venus and
Mercury. The image is not to scale, of course.
