This shows an asteroid (along with its small moon) passing too close to Earth for comfort. The asteroid is actually from a photo of a rock I took in Gran Canaria. The rock looked so much like an asteroid, with dimples that seemed to be craters, that I took the photo and later cut it out from the background to use it in this picture.
