2. How much to use an image of yours in a book or magazine?

I am afraid the fee just depends on so many parameters that I could not possibly fully answer this question here. Is it for the cover, the inside? How large? What sort of distribution? International? Is it a little-known magazine or an international best-seller? The best advice I can give here, if you wish to use any of my art, is to please just drop me a line. 

Please do not embarrass yourself by asking to use my art for free if it's for commercial reasons. Non-profit organisations: do not expect or assume free usage either. Ask first.
