elcome to a universe of space art! I am Mark A. Garlick, a professional artist and scientific illustrator with a background in astronomy, specialising in astronomical art. A Fellow of the International Association of Astronomical Artists (IAAA), I produce space images for use in books, magazines, advertising and for other purposes.
This website showcases around 160 of my space- and related artworks, spanning my entire career. Some were rendered traditionally (e.g. with acrylic or gouache), but most nowadays are produced digitally in Photoshop using a graphics tablet, with the occasional use of 3D programs.
